Bilingual Receptionist

The receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system. Setting: Tax & Accounting Practice Location: Silver Spring, Maryland Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week Reports to: Managing Director Languages: Spanish Primary Responsibilities: Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Scan and copy documents Maintain a clear filing system physically and electronically Enter basic tax information in software Skills and Qualifications: Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills, Supply Management

Tax Preparer

Correct Refund Tax & Accounting is looking for an experienced tax preparer. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone and make appointments

  • Data Entry in Tax Software.

  • Prepare basic individual returns.

  • Complete and submit tax returns upon approval

  • Be familiar with Quickbooks

  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Experience:

  • Public Accounting Firm: 2 years (Required)

  • Tax Preparation: 2 years (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Bilingual is a plus
